Outline of the Conference

UNCECOMP 2021 will consist of Live Sessions and On Demand Pre-recorded Presentations

Live and Pre-recorded Sessions:

  • Plenary and Semi-plenary Sessions will be broadcasted live via ZOOM on the Conference virtual platform.
  • Minisymposia (MS) and Thematic Sessions (TS) will take place live via ZOOM, consisting of a presentation and discussion on each paper, followed by a Round-Table discussion.
  • The recommened Pre-recorded presentations will be available to the participants one week before the Conference, during the dates of the Conference and in the post-Conference video library.

Plenary and Semi-plenary Live Sessions

The presentations of Plenary and Semi-plenary sessions will be broadcasted live via ZOOM on the indicated time at the Conference virtual platform. The corresponding questions from the audience made to the dedicated Q&A section will be addressed live by the chairpersons to the speakers after each presentation.
Each Session will be recorded and along with the Q&A will remain active and available in the post-Conference library and the speakers will be able to respond to all queries at their own pace.

Minisymposia (MS) and Thematic (TS) Live Sessions

The Minisymposia (MS) and Thematic (TS) Live Sessions will also take place via ZOOM.

All presenters will participate in the corresponding Minisymposium or Thematic Live Session with a Powerpoint presentation of 15 min (including 3 min for discussion). After each live presentation by the speakers, the participants may pose their own questions by the raise hand option. Additionally, the chairpersons may also address questions asked via Zoom chat or via the relevant Q&A section of the corresponding pre-recorded session.

Following the Live MS Session, a Round-table discussion will take place with invited speakers. Each Session will be recorded and along with the Q&A will remain active and available in the post-Conference library and the speakers will be able to respond to all queries at their own pace.

Interaction and Networking

There will be dedicated Q&A and chat sections associated with each Session of the recommended pre-recorded presentations. The speakers will be able to respond to the questions made by the participants during the week before the Conference, during the dates of the conference and after its end. The questions and answers are available to all attendees.

Questions may also be asked during the Plenary, Semi-plenary, Minisymposia (MS) and Thematic (TS) Live Sessions via the corresponding Q&A dedicated sections, while chat sections will also be available where attendees can interact with each other.

How to access the online event?

To access the online platform, you need to be registered for the UNCECOMP 2021 Conference by May 25, 2021.  The URL to the platform along with the login details will be sent to all registered participants in due course. If you have not received the login details by June 24, please contact the conference secretariat at info@uncecomp.org.
